Man shot by police in alleged carjacking in Brisbane

A man has been shot in the buttocks and seriously wounded, and a police officer injured, during an alleged carjacking incident in the southwest Brisbane suburb of Durack.

A police officer also suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident in Durack about 12.20pm on Friday.
Paramedics took the man, 28, to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
