The Royal Family official Twitter account has posted the word ‘thanks’ overnight, prompting a quick response from social media followers.
The tweet, which seems to have been posted accidently, was live for six minutes and in that time, it was liked 1,260 times and retweeted 591 times.
“You’re welcome Liz, and I’ve kept the receipt in case you want to change it kid, OK?” said one quick-witted Queen Elizabeth fan.
