NT Police say four people injured with two in critical condition after Katherine crash

Northern Territory Police say four people are injured — with two in a critical condition — after a high-speed crash on the Stuart Highway in the Katherine township on Thursday night.

- The crash occurred about 11:00pm last night on the Stuart Highway in Katherine
- Emergency services were required to extract two injured passengers from the crash
- The Stuart Highway is closed between the Bicentennial Intersection and Giles Street
A spokesman from St John Ambulance said the two people critically injured have been transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital and the other two involved in the crash were expected to be transferred to the hospital this morning.
