Venomous snakes slither into school tuckshop and office

“[The tuckshop operators] were a bit frightened and thought the snake was much bigger than what they thought.”
Mrs Hill said they had been called out to the Bundamba State School the day before.
“It’s not very often that we are called out to schools but a brown snake made its way into an office on Thursday,” she said.
“That was an extremely hot day so it must have come in to keep cool in the airconditioning and it was sitting next to the tables.
“Norman touched it with a hook and the snake went from one end to the other and we grabbed it.
“It was great teamwork.”
A snake was found in an office at a school in Ipswich.
Mrs Hill said the two snakes were highly venomous.
