45 recruits graduate as First Year Constables in Townsville

Minister for Police and Corrective Services and Minister for Fire and Emergency Services the Honourable Mark Ryan MP, and the Member for Mundingburra, Les Walker, joined Deputy Commissioner Doug Smith in celebrating the induction of 45 new officers who have joined the Queensland Police Service (QPS).
Congratulations to the 45 new officers who officially join the QPS today
Deputy Commissioner Smith said the new officers would begin their policing careers by serving communities across Central, North and Far North Queensland.
“After graduating from the Townsville academy today, the First Year Constables will be based in stations across our rural and remote districts,” Deputy Commissioner Smith said.
