Parts of SEQ in line for 100mm under weekend wet weather forecast

“We could see a coastal trough or even a low-pressure system develop along the coast. Now exactly where it will develop, whether that’s just in Queensland or in northern New South Wales, will impact the amount of rainfall we see from it.”
Ms Hoff said up to 100 millimetres could fall in some areas of the south-east between Friday and Monday, with a peak in rain activity expected on Sunday.
