Australian shares are expected to rise for the seventh day in a row, as global markets received another shot of COVID-19 vaccine optimism.
ASX futures were up 31 points (+0.5pc) by 8:10am AEDT.
Johnson & Johnson announced it could obtain late-stage trial results of a single-dose coronavirus vaccine it is developing, earlier than expected. That sent its US-listed shares up 1.6 per cent.
