Gamers shouldn’t be subjected to both higher game prices and the moneymaking schemes that have come with the current console generation.
The new console generation may have just begun, but it isn’t finished beating up your bank account. If youve gotten lucky and snagged the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, youve already spent at least $500 (or $300, if you went the Xbox Series S route). Those prices are significant, yet they don’t factor in the additional cost of buying games for your shiny new box. Games that are sure to rise in price as this generation advances.
