Sheng-Chang Chiang, CEO and President of Micro-Star International, a Taiwanese multinational information technology corporation, died at the age of 56
Sheng-Chang Chiang, CEO and President ofMicro-Star International, a Taiwanese multinational information technology corporation, died at the age of 56 after falling from a building, according to news reports. Chiang, also known as Charles Chiang, took over MSI in January of 2019 after leading the companys successful charge into motherboards and graphics cards as the Head of Desktop Computing.
MSI has been a major sponsor in the esports space having signed deals with the likes of ESL and BlizzCon. Recently, MSIterminated its agreement with the esports organization Method after a wave of sexual misconduct allegations were revealed.
Areport from the Liberty Times Net, states that Chiang fell from the seventh floor of the companys headquarters in the Zhonge District of northern Taiwan. Police were dispatched to the scene and Chiang was rushed to the hospital, although showing no signs of life during transport. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
MSI has yet to release a statement.
