Breakdancing will feature for the first time at the Paris 2024 Games as part of an Olympic push to modernise.

Australian Breaking Association president Lowe Napalan, 29, said the announcement was a long time coming and believed China would pose as the sport’s biggest threat with their competitions attracting thousands.
“They’ve been saying it’s happening, it’s not happening for a while now, so this morning’s announcement was a huge relief,” he said.
“It’s another platform for us to showcase what we do and to basically get more people involved.
