Seqwater chief executive Neil Brennan yesterday told a Budget Estimates hearing that they had kicked off “initial further restarting” of the western corridor scheme. It comes as the latest figures show Seqwater’s water grid storage capacity is now sitting at 54.9 per cent – just above the 50 per cent threshold for when water restrictions would be considered.Mr Brennan said they would be “looking at instigating” recycled water if dam levels fell to 40 per cent.
