In November Chinas exports to Australia grew 22.6 per cent, year-on-year, while its imports from Australia rose 9.2 per cent. Between October and November, however, while Chinese exports still rose 8.6 per cent, its imports from Australia fell 6.1 per cent, presumably reflecting the initial impact of the sanctions on Australian coal, barley, wine, lobsters, beef and timber.
