Wests Tigers recruit Joe Ofahengaue has recalled the brutal conversation he had with Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters which eventually led to his exit from the club.
After his first training session at his new home, Ofahengaue explained how he approached Walters after hearing whispers surrounding his playing future.
“Kevvie and I have a pretty good relationship … I seem to think so. But we talked a lot before he got the job and after he got the job he called me in (for a meeting),” he told reporters.
