Adelaide forward Taylor Walker has been ruled out for one to two weeks due to a knee problem.
The veteran Crow has been managing an issue on the outside of his right knee for more than a month, Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders has revealed.
With increased training intensity and stringing together a handful of games, hes become a little bit sore, Saunders said.
This is affecting Taylors agility and ability to jump at the ball.
Its most likely well need to rest Taylor for one to two weeks to make sure that issue is resolved and hes right to play.
Young forward Darcy Fogarty is expected to return around the same time as Walker.
Darcy is coming along slowly, Saunders said.
Its a high-grade contusion to the shoulder blade.
Hes making steady progress that suggests hes likely to be available in two weeks time.
Captain Rory Sloane passed a late fitness test on the weekend to feature against Fremantle in Round Five.
Sloane is expected to be available for selection against West Coast.
Rory did a good job to get to the game on the weekend given the grade of the injury, Saunders said.
We expect him to be better again this week, but well need to modify his loads.
On a positive note, midfielder Rory Atkins is recovering well and could return to face St Kilda in Round Seven.
Rorys shoulder is coming along very well, Saunders said.
Hes completed good running loads and we expect him to transition into contact training late this week.
