PARIS, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) — More than 55,000 people have died from COVID-19 in France, the country’s national public health agency, Sante Publique, said in a statement on Sunday.
France’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 55,155, 175 of which were recorded in the past 24 hours, said the agency.
In total, 2,292,497 COVID-19 cases have been registered in the country, with 11,022 new confirmed infections over the past 24 hours.
