Rising star Cameron Green has given “the perfect interview” for a Test debut, stroking a classy century for Australia A against the Indians.
Competing for a spot in Australia’s middle order, the tall 21-year-old all-rounder oozed class with 114 not out against a quality attack featuring Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Umesh Yadav.
Green is in Australia’s 17-man Test squad but before this knock was considered unlikely to feature in the series opener in Adelaide on December 17.
