Aussie great and $10m man Neil Robertson wins UK Snooker Championship for third time – Fox Sports
One of Australia’s most underappreciated sporting exports Neil Robertson has enhanced his legacy again by winning a third career UK Snooker Championship.
The Aussie overcame world No.1 Judd Trump 10-9 in Milton Keyes on Monday (AEDT) in one of the greatest finals the tournament has witnessed.
There was never more than a frame difference between the pair in a marathon final that finished just before 1am local time.
While Robertson rates relatively few mentions in the discussions of great Aussie sportspeople of this generation, his latest triumph adds to the truly remarkable career of one of the sports all-time greats.
