Can you spot the sinister creature lurking in the water at popular Queensland beach?
Beachgoers at a popular Queensland swimming spot got a serious fright after a deadly Eastern Brown snake was seen slithering through the water.
The snake was spotted at Point Cartwright on the Sunshine Coast, a much-loved swimming and dog walking area.
It can be seen in the video above slithering through the ocean and hiding in the rocks much to the surprise of locals.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers posted a video of the snake to Facebook and thanked the public for their cooperation.
