‘We’ll do it all again’: Jarryd Hayne sexual assault trial ends in hung jury – Sydney Morning Herald
Hayne faced trial accused of assaulting a woman at her home on the outskirts of Newcastle in 2018.

In a note, the jurors said they were unable to reach a unanimous or majority verdict after considering all the evidence, and “no amount of time and deliberation will be able to change this”. They wrote that their decision was not reached lightly.
Judge Peter Whitford listed the matter for a mention on December 16, when the court will be told how the case will proceed.
As he left court and was surrounded by waiting cameras, Hayne said: I told the truth, and well do it all again.
