Wests Tigers officially release Josh Reynolds ahead of mooted Super League move – Wide World of Sports
Huge cap space cleared ahead of 2021 revamp
The Wests Tigers have officially confirmed that Josh Reynolds has been granted a release from the remainder of his contract to take up a long-term deal in the English Super League.
The former Bulldog had one year to go on his $3 million four-year deal with the Tigers – and only played 22 NRL games for the joint venture during that time.
The move will give the Tigers around $500,000 in salary cap space and will build confidence in trying to recruit more talent to their roster.
