Key points:
- ABF officers arrested a 28-year-old man at a South Hobart property on Thursday morning
- Childlike sex dolls are categorised as child abuse material
- ABF officers say the dolls have no place in the Australian community and the importation is “extremely concerning”
Around 60 doll parts were found by Australian Border Force officers in Melbourne last month, more than 40 of them categorised as childlike.
Officers visited a South Hobart property on Thursday morning, where they found another 23 parts and arrested the 28-year-old Chinese national.
