After the Industry Awards on Friday, where Babyteeth also won best casting and original score, the main ceremony was held in two stages at The Star in Sydney on Monday.
The film categories, hosted by comedians Rove McManus and Susie Youssef, were held with a social distanced audience at tables that included cardboard cut-outs of stars unable to attend because of the pandemic, including new AACTA president Russell Crowe, Chris Hemsworth and Noni Hazlehurst.
