Girl, 18, stabbed in stomach at Gladstone home

Police were called to Brampton Street in Gladstone Central after the young woman received life-threatening injuries to her abdomen. She is understood to be in a serious but stable condition. The 20-year-old man was then arrested from a home in Kin Kora and has since been charged with grievous bodily harm (domestic violence).A Queensland Police statement said the two were known to each other. The man will face Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday. Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
