Qualcomm has announced its new Snapdragon 888, the processor which will power the next generation of Android smartphones from the likes of Samsung and LG.
The chipset is set to be a big improvement for 5G and will feature Qualcomms X60 modem, which jumps to a 5nm process for better battery power.
The Snapdragon 888 will also offer several other upgrades, such as the companys sixth-generation AI engine, which is touted to enhance performance and power efficiency.
