AFL gives the all-clear to 2021 mid-season rookie draft – Fox Sports
The AFL has opted for a single mid-season rookie draft in 2021 rather than a proposal for multiple periods throughout the season.

Clubs were informed on Tuesday that the draft, which saw 13 players selected in 2019, will take place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
The league had also considered a monthly period that would allow clubs to fill list spots or replace inactive players, but eventually stuck with the existing formula.
