Deteriorating Housing Affordability in Sydney and Melbourne Due to Both Demand and Supply

Housing affordability is becoming a very hot political topic at the moment and it is no wonder why.  When we look at the latest CoreLogic Home Value Index results for February 2017, they show that combined capital city home values increased by 1.4% taking them 11.7% higher over the past year.  Since the end of 2008, combined capital city dwelling values have increased by 66.2%.
