‘None of you have the intellectual level’: Kyrgios hits out again at Djokovic, Thiem – Sydney Morning Herald
Nick Kyrgios has slammed Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev after Thiem said the Australian needed to ‘come clean’ himself.
Nick Kyrgios has once again taken aim at fellow tennis superstars Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev, questioning whether they have the “intellectual level” to understand the problems he has with their behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thiem called Kyrgios out overnight, questioning why he felt the need to “interfere” when Zverev was caught partying despite placing a self-imposed, self-isolation period on himself after the ill-fated, Djokovic-led Adria Tour.
“Kyrgios did a lot of mistakes himself. It would be better for him to come clean instead of criticising others,” Thiem said.
Thiem also said it was “bad luck” that Zverev was filmed partying after having promised to go into self-isolation.
