Home loan savings ‘worth getting out of bed for’: ACCC – The Australian Financial Review
A year-long inquiry into home loan pricing has yielded four recommendations designed to save borrowers ‘serious money’.
In a report released on Saturday, the ACCC made four recommendations to improve transparency for borrowers and remove impediments to switching, including requiring lenders to provide customers with an annual reminder of the best rates on offer, mirroring a similar initiative in the energy market.
