Donald Trump will get Secret Service protection, classified briefings and a pension for life when he leaves the White House
US President Donald Trump may be holding a “victory” rally in Georgia this weekend, but states are certifying he lost the election and plans are well underway for Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Come January 20, Trump will be out of the White House.
As President, Trump has been entitled to all sorts of perks, including a $US400,000 ($542,000) salary which he gave away, access to a personal plane, helicopter and country home and dozens of staff to attend to his (almost) every want and need.
But what sort of perks will he receive once he re-enters life as a “regular” US citizen?
Access to classified briefings
Trump will be given ongoing access to highly classified briefings on major foreign policy issues.
