Jurors deliberating in the sexual assault case of former NRL star Jarryd Hayne have said they are “unable to agree” on a verdict, but they have been instructed to continue their deliberations to keep considering the evidence.
Mr Hayne, 32, is on trial in Newcastle District Court on two charges of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent, recklessly inflicting actual bodily harm, after he allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old woman with his hands and mouth in September 2018 and left her bleeding…
