It’s still a work in progress, but in 2026 this patch of earth will be the site of the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
The ABF Commissioner, Michael Outram, visited the Western Sydney International Airport site with Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and WSA CEO Simon Hickey to see the location where a large number of ABF officers will be working in the future.
Western Sydney International will be connected to a thriving business district, the Western Sydney Aerotropolis – a ‘smart city’ that will host industries leading in advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defence, and agribusiness.
