Nottinghamshire hospitals will be some of the first in the country to receive the coronavirus vaccine, on what has been described as a “landmark announcement” for the county.
The news came on December 2 just after the first vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech was approved for clinical use by regulators in the UK.
Analysis shows the vaccine can prevent 95 percent of people from getting Covid-19, including 94 percent in older age groups.
