Commissioner’s gift drive spreads Christmas cheer
Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski today joined members of Policelink for the annual Commissioner’s Christmas gift drive presentation to donate 1,700 gifts as a result of combined efforts and help from generous donors and sponsors.
Representatives from 21 foster and kinship care services across the Moreton and south east areas received the donated gifts for children in need.
This year, the Commissioner’s Christmas gift drive is celebrating its 28th year, where Queensland Police Service (QPS) members and other agencies generously donate age-appropriate festive gifts for children in care to ensure they feel special and cherished during the holiday season.
