Chevron boss to move back home to US after two years in Perth – WAtoday
Chevron’s Australian boss Al Williams will return home for a new job with the US energy giant after just two years in Perth.

He had led Chevron Australia at its Perth headquarters since January 2019 with responsibility for pivotal state-based projects at Gorgon, Wheatstone and the North West Shelf LNG project in the Pilbara.
The discovery of cracks across one of the three production trains at Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project on Barrow Island soured Mr Williams’ tenure after a mid-year shutdown cost months of production.
