ASX: The ASX is set to rise on Thursday after the UK approved a Covid-19 vaccine.
The S&P/ASX200 benchmark index closed up just 1.7 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 6590.2 on Wednesday while the All Ordinaries closed down 0.9 points, or 0.01 per cent, to 6811.3.
Wall Street: Wall Street finished higher overnight after a slow start due to weak jobs data. Salesforce.com led the initial fall after it bought workplace messaging app Slack.
