Broome chopper crash: Group headed for holiday when tragedy struck – WAtoday
Well-known tourism operator Troy Thomas had taken off in a chopper to take his daughter, her friend and another woman on a family holiday when the aircraft ran into trouble shortly after take-off.
Another 12-year-old girl, believed to be a friend of Mr Thomas daughter, tragically died at Broome Hospital two hours after the crash.
