Matera remains captain after Pumas strike threat but banned trio won’t play – Sydney Morning Herald
Pablo Matera’s suspension as Argentina captain has been overturned but the 27-year-old and two of his other teammates won’t line up against Australia this weekend….

Another reads: “Today is a good day to get in the car and drive over blacks.”
It is understood the Pumas were unaware the initial sanctions were being handed down by its board and in the days since, a number of players within the squad threatened to boycott the match if the three werent reinstated.
The UAR said it has also acknowledged public support for the three players from teammates, former Pumas representatives and Argentinian.
