Feedback Festival helps Gold Coast music industry return to normal, but coronavirus rules out dancing

Far from their packed gig at a Surfers Paradise nightclub in 2017, Gold Coast electronic duo Lastlings will this weekend perform to an audience whose dance moves are shackled by coronavirus restrictions.

- More than 50 artists will perform at 10 venues between December 3 and 13 as part of Feedback Festival
- The City of Gold Coast has provided $100,000 for the festival to boost confidence among venues
- But uncertainty over future restrictions remains, with dancing still banned indoors but allowed outdoors
But rather than pull back, siblings Amy and Joshua Dowdle intend to go “full bore”.
“Physically, mentally — we want to give the fans the best show possible each time they come,” Joshua Dowdle said.
