Queen Elizabeth is facing a more intimate Christmas than originally planned due to Britain’s ongoing battle with the coronavirus pandemic.
Restrictions are back in place and Her Majesty, 94, and Prince Philip, 99, will mark the occasion at Windsor Castle for the first time in 33 years in lieu of their traditional family gathering at Sandringham.
Many traditions will be broken this year including the Queen’s annual gift giving ceremony for staff.
