Boost to SA MPs’ super in exchange for lobbying ban recommended as part of code of conduct
A cross-party committee of South Australian MPs has recommended the return of generous lifetime pensions for politicians in return for them signing up to a code of conduct.

- A parliamentary committee has recommended MPs get more superannuation if a code of conduct is adopted
- SA’s Parliament is the only one in the country not to have a code of conduct
- Sweeping changes to the state’s anti-corruption watchdog have also been suggested
The South Australian Parliament is the only state or territory parliament in the country yet to endorse such a code.
