A record-low number of selections are set to be used at next Wednesday’s national AFL draft.

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing several underage leagues, most notably the NAB League, to come to a halt, AFL recruiters have had a tough task identifying prospects this season.
But come next week, nearly a quarter of the overall national draft selections expected will likely be tied to the 18 AFL clubs.
