A 20 per cent levy on all sugary drinks would have a positive flow-on health and economic impact.

Dr James Muecke spoke to the National Press Club on Tuesday about Australia being let down by “flawed” national dietary guidelines and a lack of understanding from experts about type 2 diabetes.
