Champions League faces major shake-up … and it could have serious repercussions – Fox Sports
UEFA are set to plan a Champions League shake-up with a new format to be floated which could see clubs play 10 different teams in the initial stages.
That is according to The Times, which claims that the Swiss System is gaining momentum and support.
It would involve more matches being played with some games taking place on weekends in a move that would have serious repercussions for domestic leagues.
