Australian shares are set to rise again as US markets hit record highs on bets a COVID vaccine may drive a speedy economic recovery.
ASX futures had risen (+0.6pc) to 6,627 points, by 8:05am AEDT.
The Australian dollar was slightly higher (+0.3pc) at 73.7 US cents.
This was due to the greenback falling to a two-and-half-year low as investors are expecting more stimulus to be pumped into the US economy.
