“Isn’t it your right to know type 2 diabetes doesn’t have to be a progressive life sentence?” he said.
Instead, Dr Muecke said we were being let down by “flawed” national dietary guidelines and a lack of understanding from experts that type 2 diabetes did not have to be a lifelong condition.
