Australian shares have risen in early trade, as optimistic investors extended November’s vaccine-driven rally.
By 11:35am AEDT, the benchmark ASX 200 had lifted (+0.8pc) to 6,567. The broader All Ordinaries index also went up by a similar margin to 6,788 points.
Some of the best performers were gold miners Sandfire Resources (+12.8pc), Perseus Mining (+4.7pc) and Regis Resources (+3.8pc), along with Domino’s Pizza (+10.3pc) and Collins Foods (+3.2pc).
