Newcastle utility Connor Watson has revealed he is gunning to be the Knights’ starting lock as he strives for an injury-free breakout season in 2021.
The 24-year-old played only five games this year before a ruptured Achilles tendon prematurely ended his third campaign with the Hunter club.
Four of those games he started on the bench, and the other he started at hooker due to the clubs injury crisis in the spine.
