Woolworths issues warning about scam shared 50,000 times – Yahoo News Australia
It’s been revealed to be a scam but ‘heartbreakingly’ thousands of people believed it was real – were you one of them?
A Woolworths scam has gained traction after being shared on Facebook more than 50,000 times.
The post, from the Woolworths Store page which has now been taken down, purports to be from the supermarkets CEO Brad Banducci.
To celebrate our 100th birthday, every single person who shares and comments in the next 24 hours will get one of the Christmas good box (sic) delivered straight to their door on Monday, 30th November, the post reads.
Each food box contains groceries worth $100 and a $75 Woolworths…
