British boxer Daniel Dubois was heavily criticised for taking a knee in his TKO stoppage loss to Joe Joyce but it turns out he had good reason.
Many in the boxing world couldn’t believe their eyes when the previously undefeated Dubois, 23, went down against former Olympic silver medallist Joyce, 35, without much fuss late in the bout.
Dubois, who was 15-0 heading into the fight with 14 KOs, went down after taking blow to the eye during the tenth round.
