The partial recount in Wisconsin is done
And it didn’t go well for Trump.
He had requested a partial recount in two counties in the state, which cost him $US3 million ($4 million).
They’ve just wrapped up the recount of Milwaukee and Dane county. And at the end it, 87 more votes were found for Joe Biden. The president-elect still won the state by about 20,600 votes.
Wisconsin’s deadline for certifying its results is Wednesday AEDT.
“As we have said, the recount only served to reaffirm Joe Biden’s victory in Wisconsin,” said Danielle Melfi, who led Biden’s campaign in Wisconsin.
Trump campaign officials didn’t immediately respond to Associated Press requests for comment.
